Emerald’s massive digital Backfiles now available

Emerald Group Publishing Limited is the world's leading publisher of management research, and recently the company has digitized over 60,000 articles reflecting the history of business management research; in some cases going as far back as 1899.

This ambitious project to digitize over 120 Emerald journals from the first issue of the first volume was carried out in collaboration with the British Library.  The journals cover the fields of business, management, library and information services, materials science and engineering. The articles are in fully searchable PDF format and are available electronically for the first time. 

The extended archive will help to fill collection gaps, reduce shelf space and provide access to articles that have never before been published electronically. Emerald Backfiles are available to purchase in perpetuity outright or over a fixed period of time.
